Meet Our Orthodontists
ASHIRA GENDELMAN, DMD
Dr. Ashira Gendelman is a board-certified specialist in orthodontics for adults and children. A native of Lexington, MA, Dr. Gendelman graduated with honors from Wellesley College with a degree in Biology before earning her DMD from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She then completed her postdoctoral specialty training in orthodontics at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, as well as a Master of Medical Sciences at Harvard Medical School.
During her 7 years at Harvard, Dr. Gendelman was awarded for clinical distinction, published several peer-reviewed research articles, and received extensive training in dentistry and orthodontics.
Dr. Gendelman focuses on using state-of-the-art technologies and techniques to deliver optimal aesthetic and functional results. She is committed to providing her patients with the highest quality orthodontic care and is honored to have been awarded “Best of Boston” every year since entering private practice. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, as well as a member of the Harvard Odontological Society and the American Association of Orthodontists.
Outside the office, Dr. Gendelman enjoys studio art, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She lives here in Cambridge with her husband and their three young children.
DAVE MALOUF, DDS
Dr. Dave Malouf is a native of Winchester, MA, and graduated from Tufts University with a degree in Economics. He later went on to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine graduating with honors. After dental school Dr. Malouf earned a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine where he was awarded both the Clinical Excellence and Clinical Proficiency awards. Later, he matriculated into the Orthodontic residency program at Tufts. His passions in Orthodontics include utilizing the most current advancements in technology and biomechanics, and striving to serve the most anxious or nervous of patients. At graduation, Dr. Malouf was awarded the first ever Dr. Norman H. Diamond Endowed Prize Fund for Excellence in Orthodontics. His past research was published in the European Journal of Orthodontics, and he has been voted Best of Boston by Boston Magazine every year since starting private practice almost a decade ago.
Dr. Malouf resides in the North Shore and loves exploring the great outdoors with his wife and two Golden Retrievers.
